Movie critic Roger Ebert admits that he was too quick to pull the trigger, when he tweeeted "Friends don't let jackasses drink and drive," referring to the death of "Jackass" star Ryan Dunn.  Dunn died in a fiery car crash Monday.

Ebert also wrote: "'Jackass'" star Ryan Dunn, RIP. His Porsche flew through 40 yards of trees."

The Chicago Tribune reports that Ebert's comments prompted a landslide of posts on Ebert's Facebook page.  Facebook suspended his page, claiming that it violated its terms of use, but reinstated the movie critic's page hours later.

The insensitive comments also drew attention from Dunn's "Jackass" co-star and friend Bam Margera.  “I just lost my best friend. I have been crying hysterical for a full day and ... Roger Ebert has the gall to put in his 2 cents."
