Earth Day 2011

Today is Earth Day and many businesses are offering consumers free stuff and good deals. I wanted to bring this up because I remember last year, my five-year-old niece asked me what I did on Earth Day to help the environment. I had to come up with something, so I told her I recycled paper that day. Sure I try to recycle, but I'll admit I don't do it on a regular basis, even though I should.

Today, some organizations will be planting trees and cleaning up neighborhoods. African Cats opens in theaters and if you buy a ticket during opening week, you will help save the Savanna. It's another way to contribute to Earth Day. Will you do anything today? Will you take advantage of any of the deals?
