I'm also married to a man who has the mannerisms of a 13-year-old boy, so that doesn't help. 

I found this dress in my closet over the weekend and thought, MAN! That's so cute...why haven't I worn that recently? I think I bought it back in 2010, so it's been a hot minute.

So I wore it yesterday. I shaved my legs, grabbed a pair of wedges and rocked it. It didn't take me long to figure out why this dress has been marinating in my closet for seven years. I hate fashion. Why can't we just wear yoga pants and sweatshirts all the time?
