Dying Author Writes a Dating Ad for Her Husband

Have the tissues out for this one. 

Amy Krouse Rosenthal has written over twenty children's books, but now, she's written something totally different - a dating ad for her husband, called "You May Want To Marry My Husband."

She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2015 - right after her youngest child left for college. She talks about all the plans they made that they'll never experience, and how the words "cancer and cancel" look so similar.

She says that her husband is a "sharp dresser, uncannily handy" and "loves live music." She then leaves a blank space in the essay, which she says is to give her husband and his future love "the fresh start you deserve."
