DWTS Technical Fail – Tom Bergeron Recovers Hilariously [VIDEO]

'Dancing With The Stars' got off to bumpy start Monday, as Hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke were nowhere to be found when the show went live. But Bergeron recovered nicely, and quipped, "That was the most amazing open we've ever had!" as the show resumed after an unplanned commercial break.

Watch at about :40 seconds, as a crew member runs across the stage, presumably to keep the crowd fired up and cheering, in lieu of the hosts' typical opening intro. Skip ahead to about 1:45 for Bergeron's hilarious recovery. And we're pretty sure the time code and volume meter you see on the screen aren't supposed to be there.

Some days just feel like one long technical nightmare, don't they? Nice to see it happens to everybody, even the folks who produce DWTS.

On a serious note, good thoughts for Dancing's Brooke Burke as she continues her fight with thyroid cancer!
