Dr. Mona Hannah-Attisha Has New Book Deal

Dr. Mona Hannah-Attisha has been an activist throughout the Flint Water Crisis, and now she is telling her story with a new book deal.

Dr. Mona Hannah-Attisha is a pediatrician in Flint who helped reveal the unsafe lead levels in the water during the Flint Water Crisis. Now she gets to tell her first hand account of the water crisis in a new book deal. A spokesperson for Penguin Random House, the publishing company says the book, which is currently untitled, will probably be released next year. A portion of proceeds from the book will be donated to the Flint Child Health and Development Fund.
