Bob Seger played for over two hours at the Dow Event Center in Saginaw last night, but before fans got to see Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band they had to go through some new security measures.

We have seen so many event venues step up security recently, Comerica Park just added fingerprint scanners this summer, and now the Dow is now joining the list. Before fans could get into the event center last night they had to make their way through 10 new metal detectors at the front door. The Dow also placed a size limit on bags that can be brought into the event center and added a few new items to the no-no list. Balloons and selfie sticks are no longer permitted at shows. They have some pretty big names coming to the Dow this fall so, in my opinion, they stepped up security efforts right in time.

If you were lucky enough to score tickets to Bob Seger's last show at the Dow last night, did you notice they stepped up security?
