Dow Chemical Cutting 700 Mid-Michigan Jobs

Dow Chemical is one of Michigan's largest employers, and Tuesday they delivered the bad news that they will be cutting more than 700 Mid-Michigan jobs.

The cuts are coming due to Dow Chemical's merger with DuPont Co. Dow's goal is to let employees know the status of their job as soon as possible. In a statement released by Dow, they will begin notifying employees within the next few weeks. Dow also has plans to help those that lose their job find a new one.
