Dog Kills 4-Year-Old Girl in Southwest Michigan

Police say a 4-year-old girl has been killed after being attacked by a doberman in Southwest Michigan. The girl's mom also sustained injuries while trying to protect her during the attack.

The family had just acquired the dog prior to the attack on Sunday. (102/23)

The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department has not released the name of the victims.
