Dog Gets Into Trash And Punishes Herself [PHOTOS]

We have a puppy at home, Izzie, who is about six months old.  When we got her, she was easily half the size of our other dog Carly.  Now Izzie is about 4 times bigger than Carly, but doesn't realize how big she actually is.  She is clumsy, awkward, and a real pain in the butt.

You can see above how small Izzie looks compared to Carly, and below how much bigger this giant six-month-old is now.  Just look at the frustration and irritation on poor Carly's face.

Trying to control a puppy who is the size of a full-grown Golden Retriever, is like trying to walk on the sun without burning your feet.

On top of that, having kids ages 3, 5 and 7, my wife and I never know who to blame when something is broken, destroyed, or just an all out mess.

So last night when I went in to the bathroom and found the garbage can on is side and the lid missing, I knew it wasn't Carly, and most likely not my oldest son, Ben. So was it Hayli, Parker, or Izzie?

We have a winner! There is no denying that our puppy was the culprit.  We didn't punish her for her canine crime because we were too busy laughing at the situation she had gotten herself into. Turns out, she punished herself!

As much as a pain in the butt having a puppy can be, especially when they are giants, you can't help but love them.

Carly is the perfect dog.  She is a rescue dog, and very well behaved. She is the sweetest, most loving animal I have ever met.

She acts more like a cat than my old cat Joslyn did.  The only time I ever heard her bark was when Ben accidentally stepped on her tail.

We got Izzie about three months after Joslyn ran away.  Since we moved we've kind of given up hope on finding her.  We searched for months and months with no luck.

As much as I have debated getting rid of her for not listening, being too loud, and destroying all our stuff... Izzie is just like a kid. And I don't plan on getting rid of my kids... not yet anyway. But my wife and I are counting down the days until they turn 18!
