Does your date of birth affect your mental state? A new study indicates it can.

Epidemiologist, Sreeram Ramagopalan, and his colleagues analyzed 58,000 people with various mental conditions like  schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and recurrent depression. The also analyzed 29 million people from the  general population. What they found may surprise you.

Schizophrenia and bipolar disorder happened much more among people born in the month of  January, while those with July, August and September birthdays had the lowest challenges. Their research also found that depression was more severe among those born in May, and least significant in November babies.

Some experts think that a lack of vitamin D might be a factor. The prevalence of sunlight during the latter months of pregnancy might be a factor.
