Waitresses do make better tips when they wear red! In a recent study, eleven waitresses wore the identical T-shirt, but in different colors (white, blue, green, black, yellow and red) on different days over a six week period.  This study found that men gave between 14.6% to 26.1% to the waitresses wearing red.. Interestingly enough, color choices did not affect women, or the way they tipped their server.
