Disturbing Police Dash Cam Footage Of A Deadly Roadside Shootout [VIDEO]

If you’ve ever had any doubt how dangerous it is being a police officer take a look at this video.

Police in Oregon have released dash cam footage from a shootout  between a highway patrolman and a 34-year-old former Army Reservist named John Van Allen, who was pulled over for speeding.  In the video Allen pulls his car over and gets out immediately, and just starts shooting at the cop.

The cop shoots back, and Allen drives off.  And you can’t tell from the video, but Allen was shot in the chest, and police found him dead about a half-mile down the road. In the end, the cop was hit in the side, but he’s okay.  WARNING:  The video contains disturbing content.
