Did You Know? Prince Wrote These Songs for Other Artists [VIDEOS]

Over his 35-year career, he wrote not only his own music, but a lot of hits for other people. 

I think there's something to be said about an artist who is so dedicated to their art that they're humble enough to write songs for other people. Prince was a huge part of my upbringing, as he was for so many of us. To find out that he wrote these songs for others was a big surprise, and made me respect him even more. Rest in peace, purple one. Your music will live on, and personally, I think that's what would be most important to him.
