Detroit Tigers Win ALCS Game 3 Behind Mr. Fister

Austin Jackson knocked in Andy Dirks to put the Tigers up 4-1 and Miguel Cabrera hit a bomb in the 7th to make it 5-1. Fister allowed a leadoff double to start the 8th and that run would come around to score to make it 5-2. Joaquin Benoit and Jose Valverde held the Ranger hitters in check the rest of the way and the Tigers got thier first win in the ALCS and can tie the series with a win tomorrow afternoon.
Rick Porcello will try for his first postseason win against Texas lefty Matt Harrison. The Tigers have had pretty good success against Harrison in a couple of starts this season. Let’s hope it continues. First pitch is scheduled for 4:19 pm.
