Most sports stars aspire to be on the Wheaties box. Detroit Tiger Justin Verlander hopes to find his way to your breakfast table and help support veterans with his new cereal “Fastball Flakes.” The 2011 American League MVP and Cy Young Award winner has
teamed up with Meijer and PLBSports and will donate all proceeds to the John Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit and
the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System.

A World Series win for the Tigers might get Verlander on the Wheaties box someday, but let’s hope he sells a lot of Fastball Flakes!
