It's called the 'Quadski'. The first commercially sold amphibious all-terrain vehicle is being produced in Auburn Hills. Company founder is Alan Gibbs.The Quadski is being produced at the company's 54,000-square-foot assembly plant in Auburn Hills.  The company currently has 100 employees in Michigan, and expects to add another 200 workers as it ramps up production of the Quadski in the next 12 months.

The Quadski will hit retail shelves in November, and Gibbs said the company hopes to sell at least 1,000 units in its first year of sales. The vehicle will retail for $40,000.
