Detroit Area Police Officer Goes Above and Beyond and Delivers a Pizza
When a pizza delivery driver was hurt in a car accident Lincoln Park police Cpl. Joe Sparks attended to the injured driver, then delivered the pizza!
Sparks says he "just figured it was the right thing to do" knowing that "someone on the other end was waiting for their food." Sparks is a 16 year veteran of the force. The recipient of the pizza said he initially thought he was in trouble when the police car showed up at his door. Talk about a good deed!
