In part two of a two-part series of interviews with Kelli Stapleton, Dr. Phil talks to Davison's Lisa Sain about the trials she has faced raising her severely autistic son, Preston.

Kelli Stapleton is the Northern Michigan mom who pleaded guilty to first-degree child abuse, after attempting to kill her daughter and herself last year. Stapleton and her daughter Issy were found unconscious in the family van, after the 46-year old mother drove to a remote location in Benzie County, and lit two barbecue grills inside the closed vehicle.

McGraw asks the Davison woman if she has ever contemplated taking her son's life and her own. (Video #2 below)

A Burton woman, Amie Carter, is expected to appear on the 'Dr. Phil' show this season to talk about her parenting challenges as well. The air date for Carter's episode is not yet available.

Stapleton is currently in the Benzie County jail, awaiting her sentencing on October 6th.
