Davison To Smoke Out Illegal Sewer Hookups

The City of Davison will send billowing smoke through the sewer system next month in search of people who are illegally hooked up to the city sewer and are not paying for it. For the first time in 32 years the city will test the integrity of the sewer system, and look for those illegal taps. The smoke will also

help determine breaks in sewer lines and defective manhole covers.The smoke process will take about a week and cost between $300-$5oo.
