Davison-Richfield Fire Dept Buys Jacket for Crossing Guard

Very cool of the fire department!

The Davison-Richfield Fire Department posted a heartwarming picture to their Facebook page last night about their radio operator, whom they call Mikey. And he does so much more than just operate the station radio.

They say that he cleans their gear, makes sure that there's always a pot of coffee on and straightens up the station. It goes without saying that these things are not in his job description - he just does them because he's a nice guy.

He also walks kids across M-15 in the morning for school, so the guys at the station bought him a heated, relective jacket for him to wear while he's acting as crossing guard. How sweet is THAT?!?!
