The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life hits the track at Davison High School beginning tomorrow at 10 am and lasting until 10 am Sunday. Teams and individuals have been raising money and will continue to do so at the relay. Silent auctions, t-shirt sales and other items will all go toward the fight against cancer.

You can visit the American Cancer Society web site for details about this event http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?pg=entry&fr_id=37985

My wife and I usually go to this event for the Survivor ceremony (she is cancer-free for 6 years now) and to bid on some of the silent auction items. It's because of everyday people working hard to raise money that the survivor rates have improved over the years.

Join the fight against cancer and support one of the many Relay For Life events that will take place in the Flint area this summer.

Chances are, someone you know and love will have to fight some type of cancer at some time in their life. Maybe even you. Give them the best chance to win that fight.
