Because if a kid wants to be a dancer, they should have that opportunity, regardless of a disability.

As a former dance teacher and the mother of a child with some special needs, this story really touched my heart and I wanted to share it.

The school is called Dancing Dreams. It's located in New York City, and it's a nonprofit organization that teaches dance to children ages 3-12 who have medical or physical disabilities. Each dancer is paired with a volunteer helper to assist them during class.

They're based on abilities, not disabilities. No child is ever turned away because of inability to pay, but contributions are accepted.
