After pleading with Facebook, John Berlin was finally able to see the movie he so longed to watch -- his deceased son Jesse's Facebook 'Look Back' movie. The St. Louis man then shared the video on YouTube, as a tribute to the young man.

Bout to go on a helicopter ride! Never been in the air before

Berlin's son Jesse died in January of 2013 at only 21 years old. When the social media site began rolling out the retrospective video of users' lives, he uploaded this passionate plea to see his son's :62 second video. Facebook was able to set privacy policies aside (what else is new?), and granted Berlin's wish.

No matter how old you are, or how badass you think you are, when a child hands you their ringing toy phone.....you answer it. Lol

As you'll see in the video below, Jesse shared plenty of pictures of his band, as well as some status updates that give us a glimpse of his personality. "Bout to go on a helicopter ride! Never been in the air before," he shared in 2011. In 2012 he stated, "No matter how old you are, or how badass you think you are, when a child hands you their ringing toy phone.....you answer it. Lol."

"From the bottom of my heart and everything that I am, I thank you, Facebook," Jesse's dad said online.

Rest in peace, Jesse.

Here's Berlin's original video plea, asking Facebook to create his son's Look Back movie.
