D.C. Server Receives Huge Tip During Inauguration

Rosalynd Harris is a Maryland-born professional dancer and college graduate, working as a server at Busboys and Poets, a restaurant/lounge/theater in Washington D.C. She served Jason White, a dentist from Texas, and a couple of his friends, during the Inauguration festivities.

Their bill was $72.60...and they left Harris a $450 tip. He left this note on the receipt:

"We may come from different cultures and may disagree on certain issues, but if everyone would share their smile and kindness like your beautiful smile, our country will come together as one people. Not race. Not gender. Just American. God Bless!"
