It's another fun filled weekend with all sorts of activities and events going on around the area. I'm always impressed with all the cool things going on at Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad. It's all about world culture and travel as you find out what has been happening in other countries. You can also sign up for Thomas the Train which starts next weekend.

I've always wanted to tour Applewood Estates but I haven't had a chance to go there yet. Maybe I will this weekend since they're having a Flint River Wild Ones tour with the theme of Inspiring Hope and Pride in Flint.

This is the second weekend at Sloan Museum for their latest exhibit Wisner's Whizbang Emporium. It's all about toys from the past so it's fun for the entire family. You can also read or play a board games with your kids. And while you're there you can enjoy 100 Years of Chevrolet which is also on display.

There are also a couple of things going on at the Flint Farmers' Market. Catch Michigan author Carrie Mattern or learn more about jam with the jammin' on the porch class. If you don't get a chance to stop by Saturday, you can go to the Grand Blanc Farmers' Market on Sunday. This week's theme is Back to the Bricks.

Hopefully you'll have a chance to take advantage of some great events happening around Flint. Have a great weekend!
