Crim Festival of Races Today

Another big event is happening this morning in downtown Flint. The 35th Crim Festival of Races starts at 8am with the runners followed by the walkers a few minutes later. Whether you're participating in the event or cheering someone on, there's going to be plenty of activities taking place after the race.

The event is for the entire family and they even have a family fun zone presented by the Flint Journal. There will also be food, drinks, entertainment and more for the adults after the race. There is nothing better than beer and pizza after you've run 10 miles. At that point you deserve a cold drink or two when you're done because you've earned it.

It's amazing to see so many people lined up downtown just before the race, which makes for some great pictures. Good luck to everyone and hopefully we'll see you on the course!
