'Covered In Love' Gives Blankets to Michigan First Responders

55 blankets were dropped off at several police and fire departments in our area.

The blankets, made by seven women from the Gaines and Linden Lions Clubs, were handed out to police and firefighters in Linden, Gaines, Argentine and Mundy Townships. The blankets are meant to help comfort and warm victims of fires, accidents, and crimes.

Linden Police Chief Scott Sutter says that they don't often get to restock their vehicles with blankets because there's not enough money and they'll never know how many they'll need.
