Couple Marries in Hospital After She Goes Into Labor [VIDEO]
My mom always used to say, "The first one can come any time, all the rest take nine months."
It was important to Stephanie Tallent and Jason Nece that they be married before their daughter was born, and the Texas couple said their vows in the nick of time. Stephanie visited her doctor Friday (8/21) for an ultrasound, and was informed she was in labor. Her obstetrician scheduled a Cesarean for that day, while hospital staffers sprang into action to arrange a last-minute wedding.
Tallent was transported to pre-op in a wheelchair with a sign on the back that read, "Just Married."
The couple's daughter Sophia was born a few hours later, weighing in at 6 pounds, 3 ounces.
