Police in the United States have gotten such a bad rap over the years, some of it deserved, some of it not so much. Our neighbors to the north seem to have a much better relationship with their law enforcement officers than we do.

The Lumsden, Saskatchewan detachment of Royal Canadian Mounted Police saw an open invite to a huge party for high school students this past Saturday. The Canadian police department wrote this awesome RSVP:

Now you have to ask yourself, when was the last time you heard a cop make promise something and not deliver? That's right! The Mounted Police showed as promised up with Doritos, and salsa from McDonald's (of all places?). It turns out that the party was being supervised by parents. Alcohol was served, but not to minors. However, the surprise guests posed for a few photos and left without any charges being filed.
