Cool Cities Art Auction Tomorrow Night in Flint

Six different locations in downtown Flint will display art objects that you can enjoy and possibly take home with you. It's the ninth annual Cool City Art Auction, which raises money for a half dozen local art organizations. Tickets to the event are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, which entitles you to admission, food, drinks and entertainment at each venue. Hours of the event are from 5-10 pm.

Greater Flint Creative Alliance will have their auction at Churchill's. Churchill's will provide the food with music from the Ben Schlatter Trio. Auction closes at 8:10 pm.

Flint Hand Made will hold their auction at the Lunch Studio, which will provide food and beverages. Music by DJ Pale Ale. Auction closes at 8:30 pm.

VSA Arts of Genesee County will have their auction at the Yoga Loft. Food catered by Red Lobster. Phil Young will perform, auction closes at 8:50 pm.

Buckham Gallery will host their auction at the gallery, food catered by 501 Bar & Grill with a performance by Jason Drake.
The silent auction closes at 9:10 pm.

Art at the Market will hold their auction at the Patterson Building, Suite 1. Food catered by Hoffman's Deco Deli, Andy Lloyd will perform. Silent auction closes at 9:30 pm.

Greater Flint Arts Council will host their auction at the GFAC. Food catered by Fandangles', with music by Sherry Wisda Jones and Sherwood Pea and Friends. Silent auction closes at 9:50 pm.

Tickets are available at Financial Plus Credit Union locations and at the individual venues (see above). Money raised helps to pay for free events like 2nd Friday Artwalk, Jazzwalk and other programs that give people the opportunity to experience art.
