Construction Worker from Mid-Michigan Killed on I-75 [VIDEO]

A 57-year-old man from Mid-Michigan has been killed while doing construction along I-75.

David Snell from Bay City was part of a road construction crew working on northbound I-75 just south of Warren Ave. in Detroit. Snell was struck early this morning by a woman who was reported to be under the influence of alcohol.

The woman ran off the road into a barreled off lane in an active construction zone. She hit two workers, injuring one and killing Snell.

Northbound I-75 was closed for several hours as officers from the Michigan State Police investigated the crash.
