Construction Alert: Part of Bristol Road Closed Between Dort, Center Roads

The closure will royally hose up a lot of peoples' commutes until November, including ours, so be prepared.

Bristol Road over Thread Creek will be closed for bridge renovations until early November starting, well, NOW. They closed off the road late yesterday in Burton, right by the radio stations here.

So, if you're coming to pick up a prize or to drop off snacks for the DJ's, you can't turn right or left on Bristol from Center - you'll have to trek up to Dort.

The city of Burton is paying a reported $800,000 for the repairs. Maybe someday, the city will just repair Bristol all together. Wishful thinking, right?
