The man convicted of giving a fatal dose of drugs to Michael Jackson has been released from prison.Dr. Conrad Murray had been sentenced to four years in jail after being convicted of involuntary manslaughter. With his release this morning, Murray served just two years of his sentence. He was released early for good behavior.

In an interview with the "Today" show, Murray said he "will restart my life" and intends to "be a model to show the world that despite adversity, and when bad things happen to good people, they can restart their life and succeed." Murray's medical license was suspended but his attorneys have filed petitions to have it reinstated. The attorney for Michael Jackson's mom, Katherine, released a statement saying "we hope he can never practice medicine again and will not violate his Hippocratic oath and hurt another patient."

What are your thoughts on Murray's early release? Should he be able to practice medicine again?
