Maybe she was "compelled to drive her beige battering ram into the house that beef built."

In 2011, WXYZ in Detroit reported on a car smashing into an Arby's in Royal Oak. And last week, internet comedian Andrew Bowser inserted himself into the story as an "employee" of the location...and we fell for it. Hook, line and sinker.

"I thought perhaps the end of days was upon us. But it turned out it was just a disoriented old lady in a champagne-colored Toyota Avalon, crashing into my world like DNB circa 1996."

The reporter who did the original story, Julie Banovic, no longer works for the station. However, when the video was posted, her phone started blowing up. She said that she "got a kick out of it."

This is, quite honestly, one of the best bits of internet comedy we've ever seen. Bravo, Andrew Bowser. This guy needs to be the next big thing.

Here's the original story. Definitely not as much fun.
