They raised over $1,500 in less than 48 hours.

The five teens that are accused of throwing rocks off an overpass on I-75 and killing 32-year-old Kenneth White were all students at Clio High School. Another student, Brianna Geary, thought it would be nice to raise money for White's family, to brighten the image of Clio in this time of tragedy.

The principal was totally on board, and the high school raised $1,000 while the elementary school raised $500 at a lock-in.

I'm always amazed at the charitable nature of our upcoming generations. They're a lot more thoughtful than when we were as kids! Good on you all - mission accomplished.
