A Clio High School student has become the victim of vandalism, after his Vienna Township home was spray painted with homosexual graffiti. Levi Peabody tell NBC-25 that the gay slur is hurtful.

“As much as I don't want to admit it, it does hurt that someone would dislike me that much to do something to my window.”

Peabody's mother says she's mad, and she's concerned for her son's safety. She believes one or more of her son's classmates at school are probably responsible for the damage.

The Genesee County Sheriff's Department is working with officials at Clio High School, and hopes to use handwriting samples to find possible suspects.
