The city of Flint has been reviewed by the state and the initial findings state that the city is in financial stress, according to ABC-12. Mayor Dayne Walling received the news over the weekend and isn't surprised by the review:

'"There's only two options in the prelim review, probable financial stress or no stress. We all know the city has a number of long standing financial challenges.'"

Walling went on to say that the state is aware of the progress the city has made but recognizes there are still many problems and issues that need to be solved. A review board will be put together to assess the situation further to decide on what will happen next. If it's really bad then there could be a state take-over but no word on when any decisions will be made.
