Child Finds Gun in Car, Shoots Self in Kroger Parking Lot [VIDEO]

A four-year-old boy who found his mother's gun in the center console of her car, shot himself in a Kroger parking lot in Troy.

Police say reports that the boy had been left alone in the car are false. The mother and her older son were loading groceries into the back of the car when the incident occurred on Friday. (11/6)

WDIV reports that the boy is in stable condition. The boy shot himself in the abdomen, and the bullet exited from his right thigh.
