Celebrate Oktoberfest This Weekend in Frankenmuth
The calendar may still say September, but Oktoberfest begins this Thursday in "Little Bavaria," a.k.a. Frankenmuth. The 4-day festival starts on Thursday at 3 p.m. and lasts through Sunday.
The festivities take place under the big tent in Heritage Park, and include lots of German music, food, dancing, and beer.
Admission is $8 for adults Thursday through Saturday, kids 12 and under get in free. Admission is free for everyone on Sunday.
So bring a designated driver and hoist a couple of steins of authentic German beer at the 23rd annual Frankenmuth Oktoberfest celebration.
