Cedar Point promised to rename a coaster after LeBron James if he returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers, but that plan has changed.

Although the basketball star is back in Ohio, the park announced that it will not be renaming one of its coasters as 'King James'. It has, however, formed a partnership with the LeBron James Family Foundation, and plans to benefit children and families, with an emphasis on education.

Cleveland's Fox 8 reports that the majority of the benefit will come next summer, when Cedar Point hosts all of the kids involved in the foundation's 'Wheels for Education' program. Also planned is a 'First Ride' auction, and the park said it will donate all of the proceeds from that to the LeBron James Family Foundation as well.

Cedar Point still hasn't disclosed what it has planned once Mantis is closed at the end of this season.
