Hurricane Sandy Could Produce 30 Foot Waves On Great Lakes
The east coast is bracing for what many are calling a monstrous storm with massive storm surge expected. A number of evacuations have been ordered in New York and New Jersey on Sunday. Hurricane Sandy and an accompanying storm surge are threatening a large portion of the eastern seaboard of the United States. A computer generated forecast of the storm show that it could spread it's winds and rain as far inland as lower southeast Michigan, causing waves as high as 33 feet on the Great Lakes.
