Newt Gingrich Offered $1 Million to Drop out of Presidential Race

Talk-show host Michael Savage has offered presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich a cool million out of his own pocket to drop out of the race. Savage doesn't think the Republican has a real shot at the White House, and feels that Mitt Romney has a better chance of beating Barack Obama.

Teenager Refuses to Apologize to Governor After Tweeting He ‘Sucked’ [VIDEO]

Emma Sullivan claims her initial tweets, using the Twitter hashtag (he) #blowsalot were meant only as a joke. The 18-year-old high school senior was on a field trip, at which Kansas Governor Sam Brownback spoke, and a couple of seemingly innocent tweets have put the teen in the center of a controversy.

In today's social-media driven world, would you stand behind your child? Would it be acceptable to say, for example, Governor Rick Snyder "sucks," or to use the hashtag #blowsalot when tweeting about him?

Michigan Congressman Dale Kildee to Deny Sexual Misconduct Charges Monday [VIDEOS]

US Congressional stalwart Dale Kildee is expected to deny charges of sexual misconduct at a news conference to be held Monday. Kildee, who represents Michigan's 5th congressional district, including Flint, Saginaw and Bay City, has been accused of inappropriate sexual conduct and incest by his second cousin, Patrick.

Federal Judge Blocks Law Requiring Graphic Photos on Cigarette Packs

In a 29-page decision on Monday, US District Judge Richard J. Leon blocked the implementation of a law on graphic cigarette photos. It would’ve required tobacco companies to include explicit photos detailing the dangers of smoking on cigarette packages.

The 36 images proposed by the Food and Drug Administration include a picture of diseased lungs next to healthy lungs, a man exhaling smoke through a hole in his throat, and a male cadaver with chest staples down his torso.
