‘The Dark Knight Rises‘ star Christian Bale showed he has the values instilled in Bruce Wayne when he made a personal visit to Aurora, CO, yesterday to meet with the victims of last week’s horrific movie theater shooting.
With the notable exception of the ‘The Dark Knight Rises,’ more and more summer blockbuster contenders are now being offered in 3D. While the virtues of the technology are still up for debate, there seems to have been an unintended consequence of the extra dimension: all 3D movies are now exactly the same.
Sometimes in the wake of a tragic event, the only thing a person can do is just throw caution to the wind and continue to live life.
That is exactly what 16-year-old Justin Davis did – after less than a day since narrowly escaping the Aurora, Colorado theater shooting, the hardcore Batman fanatic got himself back in front of the big screen at another Colorado theater to finish ‘The Dark Knight Rises.’
July 23, 2012 There has been some talk about that for a while now. I think by now the tragedy that occurred in Aurora, Colorado is beginning to sink in with most of us. It makes no sense. We wonder what drives a person to the point of doing something like this. Blaming doesn't help so we think about ways to prevent these things from happening.
