Can Flint Get $4.5 Million from Don Williamson?

The City of Flint, in a rare move, has asked a judge to order Don Williamson, Flint's former mayor, to pick up the tab on a $4.5 million judgment awarded to Flint Police officers. You can probably expect a long court battle between the city and the former mayor, who resigned in 2009 when he was facing a recall election.

Former ‘Country Squire’ Fire Labeled ‘Suspicious’

It's a location that hosted many Cars 108 events and parties. Today it is gone. Fire crews from at least a dozen area fire departments responded to the call about 6pm last Saturday. The building, formerly the home of restaurants like Broadstreet, R.C./ Coopers, and Bosley's, had been closed for almost 5 years. There was no electricity or gas service to the structure.
