The weather didn't do much to help the Cars 108 Garden this year. Lots of 90+ degree weather and very little in the way of rain led to a disappointing harvest. We didn't find Jimmy Hoffa either.
I had lunch today at the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. By doing so, I helped feed several people. You can do the same until 8 tonight. The Empty Bowls fundraiser allows you to taste delicious soups from several local eateries. Your ticket price helps to raise money for the Food Bank, who can turn it into lots of meals for lots of people.
