December 9, 2011 Davison's Main Street will be filled with Christmas cheer and fun for the Downtown Development Authority's Christmas Parade. The parade starts at 6:30 with music, a recital of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" by 67th District Court Judge John Conover, free hot chocolate and popcorn and of course, Santa Claus. Families are encouraged to bring their cameras and the children should bring their list for Santa.

December 7, 2011 As part of Holly's annual Dickens Festival, you can Run Like The Dickens this Saturday morning (Dec 10) in the 5k and 10k races which start and finish outside of Holly Middle School's Karl Richter Campus at 9 am. Both races take you through neighborhoods and through downtown Holly on a flat, fast and festive course. Many people (myself included) run this one to get the nice winter tech shirt with mitten cuffs and for the homemade post-race treats.
