Casino Offers Woman Steak Dinner After $43 Million Slot Machine Malfunction [VIDEO]

Katrina Bookman thought her life had changed in an instant when she hit it big on a slot machine. But casino officials quickly reneged, telling her the $42.9 million prize indicated by the machine was a mistake.

She was offered a steak dinner as a consolation prize.

The New York state gaming commission tells ABC-7 that the Sphinx slot machine at the Resorts World Casino malfunctioned. Its maximum payout is $6,500.

Bookman tells the TV station she plans to file a lawsuit against the casino.
