'Flint's Best Rock', a documentary filmed and produced by Cars 108 Creative Services Director Jim Baade is being featured at this weekend's Flint Film Festival. The festival takes place Friday and Saturday (10/11 - 10/12) at the Riverfront Banquet Center in downtown Flint.

Inclusion in the festival took Baade by surprise.

"I had forgotten I had entered 'Best Rock' in the Flint Film Festival, until this morning when people at work are telling me my movie is on ABC-12 News. Funny, the Film Festival never notified me personally of their decision to show our film. Seems fitting for it to show here."

The film, which earned a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, documents the rise and fall of Flint radio station WWCK-FM, once considered one of the best Rock & Roll stations in the country. It features interviews and memories from some of the staff and personalities that made the once-great 105 FM a legendary radio station.

And on a personal note, all of us here at Cars 108 couldn't be prouder! You rock, Baade!
