I need to go to the store later because I actually want to try to cook some meals this weekend. I found this recipe that I'm going to try which includes snickers and apples so you really can't go wrong with it. It actually looks really easy to make which is even better. Read more after the jump to learn how to make this candy bar apple salad and to find out more details about our upcoming Taste of Home Cooking event, which could feature this recipe.

Ingredients:

1-1/2 cups cold 2% milk

1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix

1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed

4 large apples, chopped (about 6 cups)

4 Snickers candy bars (2.07 ounces each), cut into 1/2-inch pieces

In a large bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set. Fold in whipped topping. Fold in apples and candy bars. Refrigerate until serving. Yield: 12 servings (3/4 cup each).

If I can make this salad, anyone can make this salad. If you're interested in learning more about this recipe or others, you should buy tickets for Taste of Home going on at Perani Arena. You'll love Chef Eric and you will walk away learning 10 new recipes just in time for the holidays.
